Life on the High Street

There is a perception that if you find something on line it must be either better or cheaper – as I proved with a home insurance quote on Friday and a car insurance quote on Saturday, both for new clients, this is certainly far from true.  The problem the High Street retailers face is not being competitive on the goods or services but being able to compete with multi million pound advertising budgets and we all know who pays for those adverts don’t we.

News from the AA & FCA

The AA say that the average home contents insurance premium has now reached £61.18p for a whole year –   yet the news often tells the sad tale of people who have lost everything with no insurance, we have clients paying less than the average for peace of mind, why not ask us for a quote and join them.

The FCA say insurance price comparison sites are failing to meet users expectations – maybe the time has come to leave the keyboard and talk to a real person instead.
